Oh Cosmopolitan Hotel, Las Vegas….I Think I Love You

Last weekend my husband and I had a wedding to attend for our very dear friend and best man Kevin.  Usually when we stay in Vegas we are loyal to the Venetian/Palazzo hotels.  We absolutely love them. I think I prefer the Palazzo a little more now.  Anyhow, we wanted to try something different since all of these new hotels in the City Center have joined the scene within the past 3 years.  We knew we wanted the City Center and we had many friends stay at the Aria Hotel, so that is what we chose.  Even though we were staying at the Aria I wanted to make sure we toured through some of the other hotels so I could see the design and be inspired….and so we did.

Talk about Design Overload! My goodness….there is so much too see!  Las Vegas truly is an interior designer’s playground.  The designers that had the privelege of designing these spaces got to have ALOT of fun. We walked through The V’dara, The Aria, The Crystals and many of the sophisticated restaurants but once we entered The Cosmopolitan hotel my eyes pretty much exploded! All I can say about that hotel is that it definitely has the WOW factor! It grabs you as soon as you walk in with this spectacular view in the lobby (which also consumes the first few stories of the high rise).

I did not get to actually see the rooms myself in person but I think the photos speak for themselves.  Very soft and inviting with a classic modern twist. Love it.

Don’t get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed myself at The Aria Hotel and would completely stay there again, but I think it will The Cosmopolitan the next time we get to Vegas.  I mean with that kind of design I have to stay there at least once!

Looking forward to my next trip to Vegas,
